Hard work is something special, it is something we have seen since the beginning of time. Where warriors are forged by trials and tribulations… where champions are made. And you know the craziest part? It usually happens (or almost always) in the DARK.
When we see many of the greats achieve what they have achieved, they normally have their routines of secluding and focusing on what matters most. The ones who separate themselves from the masses, are precisely doing the opposite of what most people might choose to do.
Going out? Partying? Nah, that’s not really in the rhythm of high achievers.
Hard work FOR ME though, makes me feel FREE. It makes me feel like I am achieving ever closer to my fullest potential. That is ultimately the vision, the dream.. if you will, to the everyday grind I have.
For example, me writing this post right now. It is out of my comfort zone. However, I want to become a better speaker, business owner, leader, brother, son, and future father. So this moment that I have is focused on that growth. This could impact people, and many generations to come.
I also seek to write books, go into the book business, and give value that way. The best way to do that is to continue to write, exercise my writing and creative “muscles” so that I am more equipped in the future.
In the end, we all seek to work in areas where we are weak in. We want to get better and live a full life. Deep down, we want something called fulfilment: the realization of a desire or DREAM we have. So with this blog post, I hope to send a message out to you that YOU can do whatever you desire, it just requires tremendous focus and HARD WORK to get there. I have a lot of work still to do, but I am grateful to have mentors and the right people around me who can support that vision for my life.
Until next time, thank you for reading.
