Starting Up Again: Why Momentum Is So Valuable… So Don’t Lose It!

This is something special to me, because I realize momentum isn’t something that just comes out of thin air. We, as leaders need to realize what we are saying when we think we have “momentum”.

I have experienced momentum, and at the time of writing this, I am in a place where I am starting back up again and gaining momentum on certain areas of my life. When it comes to business, personal relationships, finances, or other: we just need to see what it means for us to be consistent with it all.

EXPERIENCE BEING BEST TEACHER

Why would I be writing about something that I said I experienced and no longer have? Don’t we always say- “don’t listen to anyone who teaches on theory… listen to those who teach on experience and fact.” Well, what can I say? It is true, but take heed to the fact that I am writing this article as a WARNING to those who unknowingly lose momentum in their lives and struggle to find their “form”, just like any athlete who perhaps is going through a rut.

What can we do to combat that loss of momentum? Its impossible to steer a parked car if it is stationary. But if the car is rolling, eventually it will get to the speed where you cannot even steer or think of controlling it anymore. That is life, and what I currently see in my own career .. is that when I let go of the gas pedal, then I lose the inspiration to keep growing and building. Its crucial we understand this, because at the time of writing this; I am doing what I can to build up the muscle to grow and become stronger so that I can escape the bad habits and become the entrepreneur and business owner that I can be and will be.

For all my friends, this post is just a friendly reminder… DONT STOP! Don’t stop pursuing that dream, or that vision that you have set before you. Its important to give every ounce of effort you can to continue to build on the small habits you may have formed in the past that serve you, the POSITIVE ones.

Closing

But for now, I will see you all soon, God bless and remember…. Stay faithful.

God’s got your back.
